Post Yart Sale Madness

Hey Guys, wow  its been a while since my last post. The Yart sale was awesome, for I sold eight paintings and traded one for one of my guild mates paintings. Not only did I sell a lot, but I also had a great experience hanging out with my guild mates a getting to know them better. I loved meeting the people who came out for the Yart sale and enjoyed getting the chance to share my artwork with them. Here is one of the pieces that I finished right before the Yart sale and believe it or not this one sold at the sale.

Also, recently My wonderful boyfriend has been making pottery that look like it was dropped and then freezed in mid explosion. Here are a few of his pieces...

Into the Blur...

So on the request of my guild mate Johnny ,who is a wonderful artist himself, I am posting some of my blurred/experimental photography. I love to experiment with completely blurred focus images, for I love the way they simplify shapes and colors into one cohesive image. I would love to know what you guys think about these images, so please feel free to comment.

To The Beach!

This past Sunday my family and I went to the beach. It was a glorious day at the beach and it was the perfect day to take pictures. We also brought our family dogs Starry, a Pembroke Welsh corgi, and Serena, a Springer Spaniel. The dogs enjoyed playing in the water and so did my boyfriend and I. It was the first time I had ever seen my corgi, Starry, swim and it was so funny to see her swim in the water with her little, short legs. All in all it was a great day and the whole family was exhausted by the time we got home including the doggies. Here are a few photos from the trip. Enjoy!

I love the beach, for it is one of my favorite places. The beach is always so peaceful and serene and a place that I can really clear my mind. I can't wait to get back to the beach this summer for some more peace and relaxation! What places do you find peace and relaxation at?

Some lovely cookies from the reception made by the amazing Cassie!

A collection of images of the show taken by Johnny Beaver! Doesn't the show look fanastic?...

If you go and see it please tell me what you think of it here on my blog, for I would love your feedback on it! Oh and don’t forget to sign our guestbook at the show when you go and see it!
